Glastonbury Festival - updates!
22 Apr 10We have now offered positions to all who have applied and paid a deposit for Glastonbury Festival!
If you have applied and paid a deposit, please login to your DCSS PAAM account and either confirm or reject the offer via your PAAM overview page.
More details will be provided via PAAM soon e.g. arrival and briefing times.
In the meantime please check the DCSS FAQ and Forum for quick answers.
Also - please keep an eye on the DCSS News for updates. If you are not subscribed to the Newsletter you can do that here.
Glastonbury is currently fully staffed.
We may re-open as we may need a few more staff - this is yet to be confirmed - and to fill spots which free up as people cancel positions.
The best way to find out when we re-open events is to subscribe to the DCSS Newsletter and keep an eye on the DCSS News.
We have received quite a few emails form people asking to swap positions.
The Glastonbury positions were allocated by:
- Group requests within profile.
- Other workers names noted within profile.
- Experience.
Unfortunately we realise not everyone will have been offered the position they were after e.g. so many people asked to work as clickers this year - out of the 375 DCSS Glastonbury staff positions, only about 100 are clicker positions. Many of the clicker spots went to those who have worked as clickers in the past (so again experience).
Sorry to those who didn't get their first choice.
